Buffalo 2TB DriveStation Quattro (HD-Q2.0TSU2/R5) Review

PreviousNext

Purchased in mid-2007 for a ridiculous price of $1,000, this beast chewed up and spit out alot of data over the years for me.  When it was accessing data you could definitely hear it, due to those loud IDE hard drives.  But it was a simple way to get RAID 0 / 1 / 5 or JBOD with just a few clicks of the mouse and not have to worry about setting up a RAID configuration.  2TB at the time was alot of storage space, but it came at a hefty price.

A few pictures below of the interior and exterior of the unit.

Included in the box :

  • 2TB DriveStation
  • Power Cord
  • USB Cord
  • eSata Cable & eSata PCI Slot Adapter
